The Master Your Stress Workshop teaches what stress is, how stress affects the body, mind, emotions and behavior. It helps the participants learn how to master their stress by learning the difference between good stress, acute stress and bad stress. The participants will learn how to engage their parasympathetic nervous system and understand how their sympathetic nervous system contributes to both wellbeing and dysfunction. They also will be empowered to choose techniques to counter the effects of stress. The workshop gives the participants the tools and techniques such as meditation, progressive muscle relaxation and body scans.
