Overview:
Due to the current public health crisis, this specific training is being offered through virtual learning. You must have a computer/smartphone and internet access to complete this course. This is a 4-week course that will begin on Tuesday, September 6th, and will end on Tuesday, October 4th, 2022. Weekly assignments will be provided every Monday and must be completed and submitted to the facilitator by the following Tuesday in order to remain in the course. Those who have not completed all assignments for the week by Tuesday, will not be allowed to continue in the course and will be required to start from the beginning in the next available session. Students can expect to dedicate 10 – 16 hours per week to completing assignments. Zoom conferencing can be accessed through a smartphone, computer, tablet or by phone (dial-in). Participants will have the best experience completing assignments through a tablet or computer. Using smartphones to complete assignments is strongly discouraged. You must participate in the live sessions and complete all assignments to receive your Certificate for 50 Training hours. Successful completion of this course will provide you with all of the training hours needed to apply for the Peer Recovery Specialist Certification in Delaware.
