Food, Wine & Art Fest

The 3rd Annual Food, Wine & Art Fest presented by Valero was held on Friday, March 26, 2010 at the Brandywine Country Club in North Wilmington. MHA welcomed Valero as the presenting sponsor of the event. “Valero’s participation represents a significant contribution to the important work of MHA and it is greatly appreciated,” said Raymond Walsh, Chairman of the event. This year’s event featured 75 auction items and thanks to sponsors like Valero, Branmar Wine & Spirits, and The Melting Pot, the event raised over $15,000 for MHA’s programs. E-Racing the Blues© 2010

E-Racing the Blues© 5K/10K Run Walk will be held on Sunday, October 31 on Wilmington’s Riverfront. A competitive 5K walk will be a new component this year complimenting the 10K run, 5K run, and 5k recreational walk. Prizes will be awarded in both female and male categories in numerous ages groups for the three competitive events. Sponsorships are available offering great marketing value. You can check out the benefits of sponsorship and sign up on the race’s website at www.eracingtheblues.org. Participant sign up and Team registration is also available on the website. The first 750 registrants receive a commemorative, long sleeved t-shirt, refreshments, and the satisfaction of knowing that their participation is helping MHA continue helping many people in need. Please join the 39 teams along with nearly 1,000 participants from 2009 as they race to erase the blues!

E-Racing the Blues© 2009

The 7th annual E-Racing the Blues 5K/10K Run/Walk presented by AstraZeneca was held on October 25, 2009 and shattered all previous fundraising totals with an astounding $141,000 raised for MHA’s vital programs. Nearly 1,000 participants registered for the race on a beautiful Sunday morning on the Riverfront. 39 teams joined the event in 2009 and played a large role in the significant dollars raised.
